Svengali Deck
The Svengali Deck is a very versatile magic deck where every second card is shorter than the rest. For example: the first card is shorter, the next card normal, the next card shorter, the next card normal, and so on throughout the deck of cards. Usually, the shorter cards are all one particular card (i.e.: Nine of Spades). If you riffle the Svengali Deck facedown, they fall two cards at a time. The shorter card will always fall on top. When you riffle it facedown you will see the bottom cards, which are normal, so the Svengali Deck appears to be a normal deck. This is a great magic trick that can be used to force a card, or transform a normal deck into a deck of all the same cards. Hundreds of thousands of Svengali Decks have been sold over the years, and it’s still used to trick people who are aware of its basic principle.
